Job rumours for June Week 2....

Aegon
Aegon, one of the world’s largest insurance and pension providers, is creating 23 platform implementation roles as a result of shift to technology and automation.

Lloyds Banking Group
Taxpayer-backed Lloyds Banking Group has announced 500 new jobs - at a business it’s being forced to spin off by European regulators. Lloyds said it would add five UK support sites - in Gloucester, Livingston, Birmingham, Sunderland and Swansea - to the sale of its Verde business. Verde already includes 632 branches. The new jobs will be spread across the five sites.

The Communicator Corporation
The Communicator Corporation, an I.T and software consultancy based in the North-East, is relocating from Sunderland to new premises at Newcastles NCJ Media Complex. The company is also creating 23 jobs to add to the 53 people already employed. Turnover 2.9m.

Edinburgh BioQuarter
HUNDREDS of jobs and more than 1000 new homes are expected to pour into the city following the completion of the 11 million Niddrie Burn Restoration Project. This complex engineering project, delivered on budget, has created a wealth of opportunities for new homes and development in the BioQuarter.

BMI Airways
BMI Regional is celebrating its first anniversary as a standalone airline, during which time it has added 12 new routes, opened bases in Bristol and Birmingham and created 100 new jobs.

Cloud Technology Solutions
Cloud Technology Solutions, a Manchester IT company, doubled staff numbers to 21 in the year to June 2013, increased sales by 100% and gained its one millionth user. Strong demand for its services from companies switching networks and data from in-house servers to remotely-hosted cloud computing has led to three years of rapid growth.

Cordea Savills LLP
Cordea Savills LLP, the London based property management company, has submitted plans for two distribution sites in Oxfordshire on a 62-acre site, creating 2000 jobs. The company has a turnover of 23.6m.

Diageo
London-based Diageo Pension Trust, part of Diageo PLC, have plans for a new logistics state of the art development will feature 2 separate buildings on a 62 acre site, creating 2000 new jobs.

Webhelp TSC
Customer experience specialist Webhelp TSC has secured a significant contract with online digital photo service PhotoBox, creating 110 jobs at its Glasgow contact centre. The contract is a key part of Webhelps strategy for growth, which includes a focus on its multi-channel capability. Webhelp has 16,500 employees and revenues of 350m euros.

RelayMed
Edinburgh based technology startup RelayMed is to create 20 jobs after it secured 300,000 in Scottish Government funding to develop its healthcare diagnostic software for GP offices. The company raised 200,000 in regional selective assistance grant and a further 100,000 Smart Scotland grant.

Omagh Enterprise Company
Omagh Enterprise Company is to invest £2.3m in a new Innovation Growth Centre creating 150 new jobs. 35 new businesses are expected.

Plymouth City Council
Plymouth Council has agreed a 20m deal with British Gas for homeowners and landlords to apply for energy efficiency grants. Plymouth Community Homes (PCH) has agreed a 30m contract to work with the company to insulate 10,000 homes. Both projects should see the creation of around 700 jobs in Plymouth.

Smiles Dental Care
Smiles Dental Group, the largest provider of private dentistry in the UK, is expanding into the North, with plans to create 150 jobs as they open 10 new branches before 2015 in the Leeds-Liverpool corridor. The company already has 80 branches across the UK.

Auto Styling U.K.
West Midlands-based Auto Styling, a major supplier of 4x4 accessories, has doubled its e-commerce sales. The company is expanding fast and is looking to recruit 15 new staff across a range of disciplines – with e-commerce coming the front of the business plan web skills / marketing skills will be in hot demand.
