Aldi to create 3000 jobs over the next year


Grocery retailer Aldi is to create an additional 3000 jobs to aid its store expansion plans in the UK and boost existing store staffing levels. The new positions will include opportunities at all levels from store assistant to manager and will also include an additional 100 jobs on Aldi's graduate scheme which pays its new starters £40,000 per annum.  Candidates should have a minimum 2:1 degree to apply and need to be able to "offer something beyond academic achievements" according to Head of Graduate Recruitment Richard Holloway at Aldi.   He goes on to say that the company is looking for "Strong personalities, work experience, hobbies and leading teams at university" having identified these as "key strengths". .. read more
