JCB digs its way out of recession to deliver record profits and new jobs

DIGGER manufacturer JCB has announced record profits and sales and is now employing more people than it has done in its 66-year history. The Rocester-based firm will launch 66 new products at the Intermat construction equipment show in Paris – and, to coincide with this, it has released its financial results.They show that the firm made pre-tax profits of £355 million last year, compared to £235 million in 2010 – a rise of £120 million... read more
