Graduates prioritise interesting jobs over pay

Graduates consider an interesting job more of a priority than pay, according to a report from student information provider Graduate Prospects.
The report found that almost one in five graduates were attracted to their employer because the job sounded interesting (19%), while 16% looked for leading organisations or those that offered good opportunities for progression. Job location was a priority for 13%, while salary was a draw for just 6% of graduates.

Glad to hear it. It's important to be realistic when you're considering graduate careers. There's usually room for growth but if you aspire to those positions, you'll need the experience. That, for me, would be much more valuable.

That said, money doesn't really motivate me in any case.
