Job announcements for April week 4 ...

Softcat
Marlow-based Softcat is creating 200 new jobs. The firm provides cloud-based infrastructure and allows customers to build their own clouds. The company employs 387 staff in 13 locations.

Convergys
US headquartered Convergys is opening a customer service centre in Londonderry in June 2014 in collaboration with phone network EE, creating 300 call centre jobs, including managerial positions.

Gordon Dadds LLP
London-based law firm Gordon Dadds is opening a new office in Cardiff and will create 14 new jobs.

EMaC
EMaC, based in Cheshire, has diversified from its core role as a service plan provider, and has developed new services and technology to support customer retention activities. EMaC has increased employee headcount by a fifth and continues to recruit.

Esendex
Essendex, the SMS text messaging service provider,intends to increase its staff count to 100. Staff numbers are expected to increase further by more than a half in the future.

Birmingham Airport
Birmingham Airport is undergoing a major expansion which is expected to create 1,330 jobs a year over a six-year period. 8,000 jobs will be created in total, 4,000 at the airport and 4,000 across the supply chain.
