Tesco Bank is creating 300 new jobs at its offices in Glasgow and Edinburgh, as it prepares to launch a current account in 2014.

Johnson Health Tech
Johnson Health Tech, which has its head office in Staffordshire, is actively recruiting technical support and sales staff. The company, which manufactures and distributes commercial and home fitness equipment, has increased employee numbers by 13%.

Retail Solutions
Retail Solutions, which provides distribution and in-store merchandising services, has installed a Nutmeg childrens' clothing area in 150 Morrisons stores, and is actively recruiting merchandisers and managers as it continues to expand.

Tropical Sky
Tropical Sky, a rapidly-growing travel company, has opened new offices in Suffolk. The company, which specialises in long haul flights, has recruited almost a hundred new staff.

Geely Auto
Car giant Geely is to develop a new range of cars. The project is expected to create about 100 hi-tech jobs near Nuneaton.

Amec, the North West-based civil engineering and construction firm, is to create 150 new jobs after securing a major North Sea deal with Nexen Petroleum.

Butlins Skyline
Butlins, the camping site and holiday operator, is to open a new resort hotel in Somerset, creating 100 jobs.
