Job announcements for Aug week 2 ...

Lotus Group International
Car maker Lotus is create 100 new jobs for specialist engineers, manufacturing operatives and university leavers, at its Hethel, Norfolk, base, following a £100m investment to strengthen engineering, productivity, efficiency and quality. Sales have increased and Lotus now makes 45 cars a week, and plans to develop new products and expand into new, global markets.

Wool and the Gang
East London based hand-knitted fashion label Wool And The Gang raises £1.8m from venture capital firms to expand online and develop global network of knitters. The company uses individual knitters in Peru to make the clothing, but now they more knitter to supply the anticipated rise in demand and are currently looking for 50 UK knitters.

Tracerco
Billingham based Tracerco has secured a £1m grant for the Governments Regional Growth Fund towards creating the new diagnostics and measurements research centre, at a total cost of £8.6m and creating 50 new jobs.

Logicalis Group
Logicalis, the Berkshire-based I.T company, has launched a UK managed services centre in Nantgarw, South Wales. The new centre comes after a relocation from Malaysia and with 438k finance from the Welsh Government, creating 20 regional jobs.

RMT Accountants & Business Advisors
Newcastle Upon Tyne based RMT Accountants & Business Advisors has expanded its specialist healthcare division with the appointment of three senior practioners. The company plans to expand the 13-strong team to 20 by the end of 2013 and to diversify into new areas of healthcare, including opticians, dentists, pharmacy, care homes, and animal healthcare.

Resource Management (Solutions)
Resource Management (Solutions), which provides talent acquisition and talent management solutions, has recorded a 37% increase in turnover to reach £36.4m, up from £26.6m. The company is likely to recruit in vast numbers to support the growth.

Royal Bolton Hospital NHS Trust
The Royal Bolton Hospital will appoint 143 new nursing staff as part of a £2.5m investment to improve patient care, following a review of shift patterns and staffing levels on wards.

Zinc Ahead
Zinc Ahead, which provides marketing compliance solutions for life science companies, has expanded its space at the Oxford Business Park after securing a private equity investment from Accel-KKR. Zinc Ahead expects to double the size of its UK-based team over three years to 2016. Turnover £6.4m, 40 employees.

Clearanswer
A global sales and marketing business, Clearanswer is bringing more than 300 jobs to Yorkshire. The company is set to create 300 new jobs in its call centre in Hull with more jobs to follow in Leeds too.
