Job announcements for July week 4...

Ecclesiastical Insurance Group
Ecclesiastical Insurance Group has seen a 147% growth in turnover over a one year period to reach 1.8m, up from 734,000. The specialist insurer is strengthening their underwriting capabilities.

Rolls Royce Group
Goodwood based Rolls Royce are set to create 100 new jobs, with around half in marketing, sales, and public relations and others in engineering and manufacturing directly linked to the production of the new Wraith model.

eSpida
IT infrastructure consultancy eSpida Limited has seen a 50% growth in turnover to reach £1.5m, up from £1m. The Birmingham-based company, which is part of Waterdale Associates, also supports the Government Technical Apprenticeships Scheme.

Qinetiq
Malverns biggest employer, defence technology company QinetiQ, is to create 60 new jobs for scientists, engineers and managers over the next year. The jobs are being created to help meet business growth and will include opportunities for recent graduates as well as more experienced employees. Turnover £618m employing 5164 staff.

Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioning Systems
Mitsubishi Electric, the Japanese air conditioning system manufacturer, is creating 100 jobs at its facility in West Lothian as they plan to turn the site into a world-class research centre in a £20m investment. The company has a turnover of £20.1m.

Molecular Profiles
Molecular Profiles, the Nottingham-based pharmaceuticals company, has used the £1.6m gained from the Regional Growth Fund in 2010 to create 30 new jobs. The expanding firm intends to take on a further 30 staff in the near future.

Rofin-Sinar
Nearly 60 jobs will be created following a £1m funding boost for laser technology company Rofin-Sinar. Government money is being provided through the Regional Growth Fund and will also allow the company to relocate to a new factory.

Oil Consultants
Oil Consultants, a Tyne and Wear petrochemical recruitment agency, has won a Queens Award for Enterprise in International Trade for the second time in three years. The firm supplies staff to 80 countries. It has grown from nine employees to 60 in two years. Turnover £17.6m.

Purepromoter
Pure 360, the Brighton-based digital marketing group, has undergone a £10.5m buyout, with investment from Scottish Equity Partners, Investec and Pure 360 management. The investment will fund growth and create 65 jobs. Pure360 has doubled headcount since 2008, to 100. Turnover has also doubled, and is expected double again, to £14m in three years.

PwC
PwC has made five appointments to its 350-strong East Midlands team, to lead the international tax structuring team. PwC plans to invest and expand further in the East Midlands, where the economy is showing signs of growth.

Utilitywise
South Shields-based firm, Utilitywise, which currently helps around 15,000 customers reduce their electricity, gas and water bills, have created 150 new jobs including energy consultant and team manager roles and French and German speakers, to work closely with Utilitywises growing portfolio of continental clients. Turnover 14.3m employing 226 staff.

Express Managed Services
Sunderland based, electrical, mechanical and IT services company, Express Managed Services has added six staff to its ranks and is looking to recruit another four to its 18-strong team. The company who have increased their turnover from £700,000 to £1.8m in the last 4 years are intending to grow that figure to between £2.5m and £3m in the next 12 months.

Reflex Marine
Truro based marine technology company, Reflex Marine has reported 52% growth in the last year through expanding global markets. Reflex Marine has almost doubled its forecast growth of 27% to achieve a £5.8 million turnover and around £1 million in pre-tax profits. The growth is set to create 10 new jobs, the company already employ 26 UK staff.
