‘Re-shoring’ could create 200,000 new manufacturing jobs

Research conducted by the RSA (the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce) suggests that an estimated 200,000* UK-based jobs could be created over the next ten years as mid-sized manufacturing firms discontinue the practice of outsourcing production to Asia.  (The move could help to reduce Britain’s trade deficit by as much as £20bn.)... read more
