Small manufacturers see orders rise in first half of 2012

Over half of small manufacturing firms saw an increase in orders over the past six months, according to a survey by the Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS). The survey revealed that 53% of respondents predict orders will continue to grow in the coming six months, with a third looking to take on new staff.
