Small manufacturers report sales increase – survey
Small manufacturing companies in England are still reporting increased sales and predicting future growth despite recent reports of an industry downturn, a new report suggests. Just over half of respondents to the latest Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS) 'National Barometer' have reported order growth in the past six months. The same number (53 per cent) said they were anticipating a further upturn between now and the end of the year.
