Starbucks has announced plans for further growth in the UK. Kris
Engskov, the Starbucks UK Managing Director, has said that in addition to
investing in refurbishing current stores, the company aims to open 200 new
drive-through stores and 100 conventional stories across the country in the next
five years.
It is anticipated that the new store openings will create
over 5,000 jobs in the UK over the next five years.
