UK engineering firm Dyson is looking to take on 300 staff. Of these 200 will be in engineering roles. The company says its aim is for at least half the roles to be taken up by graduates. Graduate engineers get a starting salary of up to £28k and a joining bonus (golden hello) of up to £3k. The new jobs build on the company’s impressive record of hiring. In 2010, 200 new engineers joined the UK team, an increase of 66%. Other roles in the hiring plans include: mechanical engineers, fluid dynamics engineers, aerodynamics engineers and acoustic engineers.
