Jobs are still to be found at the new home of the BBC at MediaCityUK, Salford.

Since September, the BBC North website has closed for general applications from external candidates. However, with approximately 200 vacancies left to fill between now and March next year, all is not lost. Combine this with an estimated 1,000 roles moving to Salford over the next ten years and job prospects for the region look pretty good. Roles yet to be filled vary, from production jobs working on TV, radio and websites to those in business and support areas such as finance, marketing and
administration. Many of the production roles will be advertised as freelance work or available on fixed-term contracts, something which is common across the media industry. All current vacancies and work experience opportunities can be found on the BBC careers website.
