The IT industry needs more women

TARGETjobs IT conducted a survey in October of over 150 recent female graduates working in IT. The key findings were that women had no serious issues about working in this field (although they often had to work harder than men just to prove themselves); that they brought different and complementary skills to work that made for better teams and they were concerned about the shortage of women in senior positions.
