Telecoms firm doubles UK staff

A Chinese telecoms company has revealed plans to create 500 permanent jobs in the UK over the next three years. This expansion will see Huawei, based in Basingstoke, Hampshire, double its workforce in the UK. The firm also expect to generate a further 1,000 to 1,500 subcontracting roles within the next three years. New roles will be created for engineers, sales staff and managers at its headquarters.
