"Derby is the UK's second city for job creation, has 11.8% of the workforce in high-technology (four times the national average) and has the highest salaries of any city outside London." Over 200 people from Derby’s business community gathered to hear progress made as part of the £2bn transformation of the city and also the priorities for the future at Marketing Derby’s Annual Business Event.
Marketing Derby Chairman, Michael Copestake and Director John Forkin gave keynote presentations on the challenges ahead including the continuation of a pro-active, targeted campaign to bring premium retailers to the city.
