Stimulating Minds moved into premises in Friar Gate after it won a number of key accounts in the area.
Managing director Karl Paling said: "Derby is a truly up-and-coming area. Since we've been here, we have won more new accounts which has set us up to grow and we've also taken on two new employees from the Derby area.
"Moving back to Derby makes perfect sense, our clients and workforce are very happy here."
