Rolls-Royce’s 2010 profits were up by 4% to £955m on a group turnover of just over £11billion. The company, which is now recognised as a global leader in power systems and services for use on land, air and sea, employs 39,600 staff worldwide, over 12,000 of which are based in the city of Derby. They are predicting good profit growth into 2011 and have reinforced a commitment to investing in world class facilities in all major geographies, to provide capacity for future growth.
