PEOPLE in Derby have seen a bigger rise in their weekly pay packets than many other UK towns and cities, research by a think-tank has found. The Centre For Cities report, has ranked Derby ninth out of 63 towns and cities for growth in average weekly earnings over the past four years. Its Cities Outlook 2011 report showed that earnings between 2006 and 2010 went up by 0.4%.
