THE number of job vacancies in Derbyshire has grown by more than 50 per cent since last year. Employment and skills specialists Working Links said that there had been a 53.9 per cent rise in jobs available in the county from August to October, compared to the same period last year. The figures, collated in conjunction with the Office for National Statistics, mean that Derbyshire has seen the second biggest increase in vacancies in the East Midlands.
